ABOUT ME
MY STORY
Julie Kennedy
Julie Kennedy was first gifted with riding lessons at age 10 and received her first horse shortly after. She’s known she wanted to work with horses as a career from that early age. Julie realized a life long dream when she opened a Hunter/Jumper riding academy in 2013.
After years of hiring equine specialists to help horses in her program, she took the next step in her equine career by enrolling into the Equine Natural Movement School to become an Equine Structural Integrationist.
Julie fell in love with this specialized equine bodywork modality and became an equine fascial system expert specializing in equine postural restoration. She loves to learn and is constantly taking continuing education and sharpening her skills.
Julie loves helping horses to feel great by bringing balance to the horses’ bodies. She has a natural intuitive feel and takes great pride in her work.
Testamonials:
I really believe in the structural integration work Julie has done on my horse. It has made such a difference in my mare’s movement. She has had issues with a lot of tightness in areas of her body. She often trips or falls out as we ride. The sessions that Julie has done have made a big difference. My horse loves the work Julie does and seems very thankful for the relief it brings her.

Julie has working on my Welsh pony, George, for about two months. When she first started working on him, he was in such terrible pain. His pain which was mainly in the shoulders and back, was so bad that we needed to give him 2 weeks off from riding. When Julie first started working on him, he was kicking out and visibly in pain which was uncharacteristic for him. The work she has done on him has been fantastic. We slowly put him back to work as she continued to do her sessions on him. Each week his soreness reduced and he started to enjoy the sessions. Now he is pain free and enjoys the work with Julie. He does still have some sensitive spots that she is working through but he is moving forward and is his happy self again. The most impressive part about Julie’s work with the horses, is the passion she has for making the horses feel better. She is methodical and does not rush through the session just to get it done. She truly gets joy in seeing a horse get visibly better from the work she is doing. She has a true passion and natural ability in this field.
